AI practice
From "we should do something with AI" to a prioritised, costed roadmap your team can actually deliver — with the people who would run it sitting in the workshop.
AI strategy work usually fails not because the strategy was wrong, but because no one stayed accountable for the build. We close that gap on purpose. Our AI strategy engagements start with the operators who would actually use the system in the room — not just the executive sponsor — and end with a prioritised, costed roadmap your team can deliver. Every recommendation comes with a build path. Every build path comes with named owners, named risks, and explicit go/no-go criteria.
What we deliver
Two workshops, a systems-of-record audit, and a prioritised use-case backlog scored by effort, value and risk. Output: the 5-8 candidates worth pursuing, ranked.
A costed, sequenced 6-12 month plan with named decision gates. CFO-grade business case with two cost models — build and twelve-month run.
For teams that know they want AI but can't pick what to build first. A two-week sprint that ends with a written go/no-go recommendation.
Foundation model selection, RAG vs fine-tuning vs prompting decisions, AI tooling shortlists — based on your real constraints, not on partner kickbacks.
When to engage us
Stack
Engagement-specific stack choices are always driven by your constraints. The below is what we have current production experience with.
FAQ
The deliverable is the same shape — a prioritised roadmap, business case, risk register — but the process is different. Senior practitioners run every workshop (not a Manager + a deck of Associates). The operator who'd use the system sits in the room from day one. And we publish the price band; you know what you're getting before the engagement letter.
Two weeks for the productised AI Readiness Sprint. Custom strategy work for larger or multi-business-unit engagements runs 4-8 weeks. We always start with the productised sprint unless the scope explicitly requires more.
Workshops and enablement sessions are included as standard. Standalone training engagements (multi-day workshops, internal courses) live under this practice but are a separate scope — we treat training as an extension of strategy rather than a separate product.
Yes. Most engagements involve at least one platform-specific AI capability already in flight. We map the strategy to your existing stack, not to a greenfield ideal — partner ecosystem decisions are part of the design output.
